(1) Free unlimited resitting for up to 6 months either onsite or via 100% Live Video Conference. Reviewing online replays is not as good. You need to be able to ask questions and the instructor needs to ask you questions also in order to measure your understanding
(2) Customized materials - most "off the shelf" training does not keep up with industry best practices that can float within the PMP Exam outline. SmartPath LLC does all of their own research.
(3) Online Quiz practice using any device that comes free for 30 days with unlimited usage available when you need it. We personally prefer our trainees to use their Smart Phone devices to do their quiz practice. This method is convenient, smart use of your spare time, etc. One person who recently passed the PMP exam did most of his practice on the metro going to and from work daily. Do not pick a training company that does not provide you online quiz practice as it's important for interactive and simulated learning - also helps increase your speed in answering questions and helps you measure your progress. (4) Enough Quiz Practice Variety - Different formats, different exam types, progressively more difficult so you can improve your cognitive skills.
(5) All Exam Guidance and Prep should be in your materials with a checklist of what you need to know with an Exam Visibility Board for further resource.
(6) Prep Exercises - that helps you increase project visibility, process connections, understanding, synonyms, uses where applicable, and meaning.
(7) Daily Quiz Practice in your book for class discussion
(8) Coaching: You should be able to ask questions after the training is over and while you are practicing for the exam. At SmartPath LLC we have two PMP certified trainers available to answer your questions using email or phone calls. People who stay in touch with their trainers are less likely to fail as they are accepting feedback that helps them focus on areas where they may be weaker.
(9) Pass Guarantee for 3rd exam payment: How it works: we give you a great deal on your class and you pay for your first exam. If you fail your first exam, you also pay for your second exam. However, if you finished your first exam and all quiz practice within 30 days of your original class or a "do it again" class, and if you retook all of your quiz practice before the 2nd exam again, then we will pay for your third exam provided that it's within 12 months of your PMP Exam approval. You need to notify us of your progress so we can help prevent all failures and make provision for the third exam payment on your behalf. Slower learners are bypass the pass guarantee as they prefer to resit as many times as needed for them to feel comfortable with the materials.
